Off Line Search Engine Optimization

By Janeth | June 2, 2010

Off Line Search Engine Optimization Yep…if you’ve not heard about it, all the big gurus are leaving the online marketing world to begin working offline.

Frank Kern is leading the pack.

Frank is teaching a class, as are many others, to people who are unable to make money online. They will be moving them into the offline world to teach them how to make money offline. The idea is to find business owners and trick talk them into believing that you are able to make money for them online.

Now…these are the same people that couldn’t make money online and it’s the reason they are heading offline. Hmm….seems a little strange but Frank says the money is no longer in selling products, it’s in selling services.

So…he’s selling a product about how the money is in the services. Now isn’t that just dandy.

But then Frank is one cool dude, when Frank decided to leave the online marketing industry to start marketing offline, he didn’t do like most people would have, which would have been to just leave with their great idea and never say anything, Frank wants to sell his idea to the whole internet marketing crowd.

I know…some people might wonder why Frank wants all the competition, but he just really enjoys helping people.

So be on the lookout for the phones to start ringing (more than they already do) and if you’re a shop owner you’ll soon be visited by a guy offering you a service that he was unable to perform on his own business.

But don’t let that bother you because this guy was smart enough to buy a product about how to do it, from a guy that was selling a product about how the money was in the services and not the product. Even though he was selling a product instead of a service, no wonder this guy is now going door to door in order to sell is internet marketing services.

No Bullshit? Then just Share it!

I think it's funny how there are those guys that are always selling some crappy product that teaches some crappy method of selling stuff online. Over and over you see the same people with the same long ass squeeze pages trying to take advantage of those who don't know the real sources of information.

You have to wonder if any of these guys have every sold anything but programs about how to sell . . .

I have found some nice little nuggets in some promo videos from these types. Jeff Johnson is a good example of a guy that does this, but actually offers some good ideas for free at times. To me it just degrades my view of them when I see the same guys hawking each others shitty programs over and over.

I signed up for Simon Leung's newsletter thinking I would learn about Adwords. Instead, I got sales letters for bullshit “SUPER-MEGA MARKETERS SECRET HANDBOOK! BUY RIGHT NOW ONLY 2 COPIES LEFT, TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!” kind of crap. /unsubscribe

I think Frank Kern is a kickass marketer but I do agree all any of them do is sell get rich quick products.

And they make their money selling the shovels and gloves and have never dug for the gold. Although they do come up with some pretty neat ideas from time to time. However, 98% of it is nothing but hot air.

Selling internet marketing offline is a joke for anyone that is not already in the internet marketing business.

Going door to door and cold calling as being your big traffic driving methods will wear anyone down in a matter of seconds. Get cussed out 100 times on the phone to get your first lead and then you’ll need about 20 of those before you get your first sell.

I am sure there are the lucky few that will make a sell their first time out but a lot more that will never get that first sell.

However, for anyone in the business it might be worth a watch, some of these guys talk about pricing, contracts, business plans and other things that would be of use to anyone already running an internet marketing business.

Great! Most people think that increasing traffic to your site only involves doing online activities, but you proved it wrong with this post. Working both ways could really improve the traffic.
