Who is David Thorne?

Shortly after we started the site last week I received an odd and cryptic email. It was a fella named David Thorne. I’d personally never heard of this dickshit…that was about to change. It seems this ego monster was the fella that published the whole ‘I want to pay you with a spider’ viral bit some time ago…

As it turns out he has a habit of being a public shit for brains that likes to publish email conversations that he has with people on a regular basis to belittle them and stroke his own fucking dic.. erm.. I mean ego.

Anyway, since that’s the way he rolls, I thought I’d publish his emails to me so you can judge for yourselves if this guy is an asshole or not…

Not a problem. It is your choice to look like you trying to ride on the coat-tails of more successful sites. As the design of your site is slightly below that of which a primary school child could do, it hardly matters, just thought you would be embarrassed.- Good luck with that.

I didn’t bother responding because there really wasn’t any point in doing so… especially since I can do it HERE… He does like pissing on people in public you know (go read the first post on his blog)… so we’ll put the response here for him;

Hey Dave… why don’t you take you fucking head outta yer ass and grow the fuck up! Ok? I mean, seriously. If you are so goddamned worried about yer image/brand then maybe you shouldn’t be such a fucking cheap skate and actually BUY the rights to the image. Ya know? Or shit… spend a few bucks and commission yer own. I don’t give a shit WHO you think you are… because I’d not heard of you nor your site before now (seen the spider thing, but that don’t mean shit bro). So piss off.

We started this site on a whim… it’s about the content not the fucking design!

    Agreed, I only got here after googling David and Tabitha’s names, and thought it was some related website because you’ve used the same image (albeit poorly colour shopped) in the same place but then I realised … well you know… your page looks like a crappy rip-off of David’s. You do indeed look like you are riding on the coattails of a more successful site, whether you intended to or not. Congratulations.

When you have nothing else to criticize other than the fact that their Photoshop skills are not up to your standard then you pretty much don’t have this.     Ever since reading everything on 27b/6 I’ve been wanting more. I refresh the site daily to see if anything new has come up. It might come as a shock but for my eyes this debate here is like a 27b/6 extra I’ve been craving for. Here I have David Thorne and I also have another guy called theGypsy. This episode is original in that the Gypsy-guy doesn’t have time for email exchange — probably because he is too busy prieching his disciples about civility and ego-management on his own site. I especially like the non-stopping (3 so far and still counting!) brave statements that although he has the Power to, he sure as hell won’t remove a picture of a girl giving the finger. Especially under pressure. That kind of reminds me when some big country (USA?) asks a small one (Iran?) “Hey. What ya doin?” and then shit small one gets all scared and paranoid, covered in sweat and poo, screaming that although it could have before, it now surely won’t stop developing the nuke. And that it might even shred the big one’s “ass cross-cut style” if it wanted to. I find it as amusing as if it was all written down by David. Some guy got pwned again. Thanks, David.

    Sure David Thorne’s personality maybe more than irritating, but you do have to give him credit for being so articulate in the ways he chooses to respond and insult someone. I find his words rather amusing, if others responded more calmly as did the man selling the motorcycles ( article to be found on his site). It wouldn’t seem so humiliating now would it?

    I’ve read and re-read the comments here and am still mystified why some people think it’s ‘OK’ for Thorne to steal money from those wanting to buy his book. Yes, he’s amusing and his website made me laugh out loud but he’s still a blatant thief. He’s taking book orders, keeping the money, ignoring emails and not shipping books. That’s theft. Period.
