This blog is bullshit… SEO style

Ok, since we’re up and running, a few notes of interest to get us started. the SEO Bullshit Blog is a sort of group therapy session for the SEO world. A place where people can come to get things off their chest with the hopes of some more peaceful slumber… Or shit, maybe we can stop a few search peeps from going fucking postal.. Either way, that’s what we’re here for.

We’re more than happy to offer this space to just about anyone that has a reasonally well thought out pile o’ steamin’ search crap to let loose upon the world.

The Ground Rules

There are going to be few rules here… It is for the adults (sorry you child labour SEOs, yer not invited) and as such even shitting out profanity laden carnage is welcomed by all. What we won’t be doing is making petty personal attacks with insensitive or language in poor taste… (the bar is pretty low tho…).

Healthy debate is good shit

One thing that will be important is to not go all friggen’ ape shit if you don’t happen to agree with someone’s post. I’m serious, grow the fuck up ok? I do expect there to be a few sides to every story and getting together to debate them is always a good thing. Shit, I half expect the I won’t even agree with everything said… nor all the authors, but let’s have some fun with it all.

We will be watching the comments and you can expect a referee to step in if yer hitting below the belt. Keep it up… and you might be the focus of an upcoming post… “Comments like this are BULLSHIT‘, or something like that…m’kay?

The Writers

My name is Dave and I am an algoholic. I also have a SEMMY in Ranting for 09. Dat’ be, ma’ pedigree not PHD. So far a few fine folks have already offered to come along.. Sebastian X as U can see already has a post up and fellow grumpy shits Darren Slatten, (a real live MoFo) and Marty Weintraub have also decided to kick up some dust (coming soon). I may even approach some of those in the blog roll hall of fame, one never knows. If you’re interested in us covering a topic… feel free to leave it in the comments!

And that’s about it… I apologize in advance to those we will surely piss off. May I suggest some Qigong?

    Saw this site mentioned on MediaPost Today. Kudos for getting a week old site this much pub. That being said, it's a great idea.

    With an f bomb already dropped in the first post, and I'm sure many more to come, I don't think we have to worry about Google ranking this site highly for too many SEO related searches.

    This is something we have needed for years. Hope all goes well.

    MediaPost? Oh shit… Laurie didn't did she? lol… funny stuff. Well thanks for dropping in and I hope to see ye around. It was a pet project created over the last week as it became obvious that many of us wanted a place to let our (fucking) hair down!! Peeps are free to let loose and hopefully a few good debates/convos get started along the way.

    If you ever want to drop a post or have topic ideas.. fire away. Tell the bullshit doctor where it hurts bro!! This is group therapy here and unlike our company blogs, we can just let 'er rip!

    Just found your site, great stuff. I really like the approach. Here is my best suggestion for the do it yourself SEO'r.
    1) writing articles that are relevant to your niche around 350-400 words.
    2) posting those articles on article sites in the appropriate catagory
    3) Use article sites that have a high page rank
    4) Use article sites that allow you a followable backlink to your website or blog
    5) Use a very SEO specific title.

    Wammo, your on top of Google for that title.
